Club Med Snow · Japan · Hokkaido
A complete guide to the Village, mountain and ski routine: profile, rooms, dining, families, terrain and access.
Colorado curation
In Hokkaido, Kiroro Grand combines ski-in/ski-out access, powder snow, kids clubs, Asian dining and the ritual of a Japanese onsen.
Village profile
Club Med Kiroro Grand is Kiroro's family base: spacious rooms, kids clubs from ages 2 to 17, group lessons and an all-inclusive routine that simplifies a Japanese snow holiday.
An enchanted-forest design connects the Village with Hokkaido's nature. Outside, powder snow is the main attraction; inside, the onsen, temperature-controlled pool and Asian dining complete the experience.

The hotel
Accommodation follows a contemporary language inspired by the local landscape. Superior and Deluxe rooms and Suites include family layouts, tatami options and a generously sized Master Family Suite.
Practical note: Grand is large, social and family-oriented. Couples and older teenagers seeking a quieter, more refined experience should compare it with Kiroro Peak.

The mountain
Kiroro spreads its runs across Asari and Nagamine, with 660 metres of vertical, groomed terrain, tree runs and freeride zones. The scale is smaller than major Alpine areas, yet snow quality and low skier density transform the experience.
View the Japan snow guide →The terrain
Distribution presented by Club Med for Asari and Nagamine; freeride-zone access depends on conditions and local operations.
Lessons in English and Japanese, daily beginner groups and progressive terrain make Kiroro welcoming for a first snow experience. Access from the Grand is via Gateway Express.
Well-groomed runs around Nagamine and Yoichi support confident progression. The area is not enormous, but frequent snow refreshes the experience and keeps the skiing interesting.
Asari, the black runs, tree runs and freeride zones hold the more technical terrain. Off-piste access depends on conditions, local rules and suitable equipment.
Light powder, tree skiing and relatively uncrowded terrain are major attractions. On deep days, plan the zones carefully and avoid unnecessarily flat returns.

Dining, family and wellness
Yoichi is the main restaurant, with buffet dining, seafood and live stations. Ogon focuses on Asian hot pots; Kaen on yakiniku; and independently operated Ebisu offers an izakaya and sushi experience. Yotei is the Village's main bar.
Practical questions
Yes. Gateway Express links the Village area to the ski domain. Access is direct, though this connection comes before the main Asari and Nagamine sectors.
Grand is the family choice, with clubs from ages 2 to 17, spacious rooms and a lively atmosphere. Peak is Exclusive Collection, more intimate and welcomes guests aged 12 and over.
Yes. There is an indoor temperature-controlled pool with adult and children's areas, plus a traditional Japanese onsen and outdoor Rotenburo.
Sapporo and Otaru are the most natural Hokkaido extensions. On a longer journey, Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka turn the snow week into a complete Japan itinerary.
