The mountain
Forests, progression and Andean views.
The mountain has learning areas, progression runs and more demanding terrain higher up. The forests give ski days much of their character.
The official 2026 guide presents a ten-person gondola linking the base to the 1,600-metre station in about five minutes. It also describes updated equipment rental, lockers and snowmaking between that station and the base. Confirm which services are operating for your travel dates.
Upper sectors are more exposed to weather. Check the daily operations report and adjust lessons or town activities when conditions change.

More than a week on the slopes.
Chapelco Airport serves the region, about 40 km from the ski base; San Martín de los Andes is about 20 km away. Flight schedules vary by season. Bariloche, about 180 km from the mountain, can be an alternative for a combined trip when the road journey makes sense.
San Martín makes it easy to mix ski days with town life, dining and scenery. An extension to Villa La Angostura can add variety without making two ski resorts an obligation.
On the mountain, the school offers private, small-group and group lessons, plus a Junior Academy, snow garden, childcare and adaptive skiing. Equipment rental and lockers are at the base, while restaurants and cafés at several elevations make breaks easy without leaving the resort.
