Mont Tremblant. Four faces, one lively village.

A complete Mont Tremblant guide: South, North, Soleil, The Edge, bases, selected hotels and access via Montreal.

Colorado curation

With 102 trails, 645 metres of vertical and one of North America’s most complete pedestrian villages, Tremblant combines wooded skiing, easy logistics and French-Canadian character.

The Colorado perspective

Québec winter.
Four faces.
One village.

Mont Tremblant turns a ski trip into an especially complete winter holiday: wooded terrain, consistent piste preparation and four distinct faces rise directly above one of North America’s most atmospheric pedestrian villages.

Its scale is more compact than the western giants, yet its logistics, dining and French-Canadian identity make the experience unusually cohesive—particularly for families, couples and mixed-ability groups.

How the mountain works

Four faces.
Different rhythms.

Wind, surface quality, lift queues and ability level should shape each day’s route—not just the piste map.

01

Village access and variety

South Side · Versant Sud

The resort’s main arrival side links directly to the pedestrian village. Gondola access, learning terrain and groomed runs make it the natural starting point, but also the busiest face at peak times.

02

Snow and confident progression

North Side · Versant Nord

A quieter rhythm, long cruisers and a strong selection for confident intermediates and advanced skiers. Its exposure often preserves the winter surface especially well.

03

Scenery and flowing runs

Soleil Side · Versant Soleil

Long descents, glades and broad Laurentian views give Soleil an expansive character. It works best when its lift and terrain are operating fully.

04

Wooded and technical

The Edge

Glades and steeper lines make this the mountain’s specialist corner. It is less about mileage and more about timing, snow quality and controlled skiing among the trees.

The village experience

Skiing with
Québec character.

The Cabriolet floats above colourful streets lined with cafés, restaurants and shops. Once checked in, days flow easily between lifts, lunch, après-ski and dinner—one of Tremblant’s clearest advantages.

Three ways to stay

Where to stay in Mont Tremblant.

01

Maximum convenience

Pedestrian Village

Colourful façades, restaurants, shops and the Cabriolet create an easy car-free routine at the foot of the slopes. The best choice for first visits and families prioritising logistics.

02

Charm and calm

Old Village · Lac Mercier

A small, characterful base between lake and resort. It suits travellers seeking quieter evenings, independent restaurants and a short planned transfer to the lifts.

03

Local life and value

Downtown · Saint-Jovite

The real town centre offers services, local dining and generally better value. Free public transport links it to the resort, though a car still adds flexibility.
