Club Med Snow · Italy · Piedmont
A complete guide to the Village, mountain and ski routine: profile, chalets, dining, families, pistes and access.
Colorado curation
In a Piedmont chalet hamlet, Club Med Pragelato combines direct Via Lattea access, Italian dining and 400 km of pistes across Italy and France.
Village profile
Club Med Pragelato Sestriere was conceived as a small Alpine hamlet, with timber chalets, lanes and a fountain square. The atmosphere is quieter and more intimate than in large mountain buildings, with a strong Italian identity.
The gondola beside the Village leads to the Sestriere sector and opens access to Via Lattea across Italy and France. It is an especially appealing combination for families and skiers who value charm, strong dining and a very extensive ski area.

The hotel
Accommodation is distributed across small timber buildings, preserving the feeling of a village. Rooms feature contemporary Italian design, with configurations for couples and larger families.
Practical note: as the Village is spread across several chalets, some circulation is outdoors. The atmosphere is charming, though families with young children should consider these snowy walks.
The Club Med experience
Accommodation, dining and drinks according to the Village programme; lift pass from age four; group ski and snowboard lessons at the stated ages; kids clubs, fitness and entertainment.
Flights, transfers, insurance, equipment rental, private lessons, Petit Club Med, spa treatments and experiences outside the included programme.
Flights, rail and transfers from Turin or Oulx, room category, equipment, insurance and extensions in Turin, Milan or elsewhere in Italy.
The mountain
Sestriere provides altitude and the sportiest terrain; Sansicario supports the links; Sauze d'Oulx combines woodland pistes with a livelier village; and Claviere leads into Montgenèvre in France. This is a broad network of sectors, not one homogeneous mountain — each day deserves planning.

The pistes
Distribution presented by Club Med for the Via Lattea–Sestriere ski area.
Included lessons and accessible areas support progression. Even so, Via Lattea's scale calls for guidance when choosing easier sectors and avoiding overly long links.
This is the profile that gets the most from the area: long pistes make it possible to explore Sestriere, Sansicario and Sauze d'Oulx, combining altitude, woodland and considerable variety.
Sestriere concentrates the sportier terrain and Olympic pistes, while other Via Lattea sectors add strong reds, blacks and guided off-piste options.
The variety is highly rewarding, though some crossings include links and flatter sections. To reach France and return comfortably, start early and monitor weather and lift operations.

Dining, family and wellness
Il Piemonte combines Italian and international cuisine, while La Tana celebrates fondue, truffles and regional specialities in a more intimate atmosphere. The experience may also include mountain lunch at Casa Mollino, at 2,300 metres, according to the Village programme.
Practical questions
Yes. The gondola beside the Village links Pragelato to the Sestriere sector. On the return, guests can ski back depending on conditions and ski-area operations.
Yes, Via Lattea reaches Montgenèvre. It is a long crossing and should be planned around the group's ability, timing, weather and lift operations.
Yes. There is an indoor temperature-controlled pool, plus sauna, fitness and Club Med Spa by Payot.
Pragelato is quieter, more charming and family-oriented. Sestriere is a higher, more compact and sportier base. Club Med combines Pragelato's atmosphere with access to Sestriere's terrain.
